Amongst other things, Sunit Zadav is a Pune based Singer-Songwriter whose music can broadly be classified under "Acoustic Indie Pop", the steel-string acoustic guitar being his primary instrument of choice. Proficient in a multitude of styles, Sunit has sung and played the guitar for tunes in almost every genre that popular music derives its roots from. Having written a couple of his own songs over the last decade, he mentions his age as "one album and three heartbreaks old." His debut single 'Mush', written and recorded under the mentorship of guitar maestro Sanjay Divecha made it to Apple Music's Top 100 Indie Tracklist. After releasing his debut 5 track EP Quarter Life Crisis, Sunit took a break from music to concentrate on his academic career. A trained medical doctor, Dr Sunit Zadav MD now teaches Human Anatomy at the Symbiosis Medical College for Women. Currently an Assistant Professor and PhD scholar at the same University, Dr Z is busy researching on the beautiful relationship between music and learning.
